Jonathan represents both venture companies and venture investors. From his perspective, the experience with one side of venture capital deals is key in bringing perspective to representing the other side. Jonathan takes a practical approach to all venture transactions, and his focus is on effectively protecting his client’s legal interest while assuring the client business and investment objectives are met and exceeded. As a partner with his clients in completing a transaction, Jonathan is organized, outgoing and a team player. Jonathan’s practice focuses particularly on:

  • Representing institutional funds and family offices in equity and debt investments into start-up and early-growth companies
  • Representing start-up and early-stage companies in all stages of their capital structuring
    Guiding both companies and investors through the ever-changing market and legal standards for venture capital

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, spending time with friends and extended family, what he calls “adiy” (attempting to do it himself) projects around his house, and hitting the golf course.
